The present and future don’t long you Past. Fade away and leave us be. Stop trying to reopen a door I’ve slammed shut, time and time again. WHAT?! I can’t hear you, your reflections and epiphanies mean nothing to me. Why can’t you let me go? My heart no longer beats for you, I feel nothing. I’ve fallen numb to your toxic repetitive choices, re-penetrating the wound you’ve imprinted on my deepest soul. Yes Past, when you was present our connection was indisputable but that was then and this is now. WAKE UP!

The reality is, the present and future don’t long you Past. Chasing my shadow through a revolving door, dizzy and delusional. Your one way one street to consciousness is a dead end to nowhere. The memories you replay, I’ve let go. Must I scream and yell, YOUR HAUNTING ME! Life never intended for you to live in mine forever. Past there is no room for you, I’ve grown.
